Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
This year Bailee was able to open all of her christmas presents. She got a kitchen, some cars, a train set, a purple bath robe, ( which she loved and did not want to take off) dishes and a few other small things. Her favorite toy was her kitchen! Everyday she says "mommy you play kitchen with me?" Before Christmas we had many parties with friends and family. We had a family party (which we have every year with my moms side of the family) where we have a big dinner and then santa comes and gives all the kids a present. Bailee was scared of santa and cried the whole time. Santa gave her a playdough set. I also had a friends Christmas lunch with my friends hailey and Edy at Chessecake factory. Later that night I had a christmas dinner at Asian Star with Ashlie, Lindsey, and Ana. This last saturday we went sledding at the park by our house with Garretts sister heather and thier family. Christmas eve we had our annual party with the Strigham family. This year we had it at our house (I didnt get any pics because my camera was dead.) We have had a fun December!

Christmas is almost here!
We have been busy this December, but here is what we have been up to...
We took Bailee to festival of trees this year, she loved all the trees but quickly lost interest. We took her to see Santa last week, she did'nt seem to understand who santa was but all the other kids seemed interested so she gave it a shot! Once she was on Santa's lap we couldn't get her to smile but at least there were no tears this year( Progress not perfection). We had my work party last night at my house, Garrett was outside snoblowing the driveway as everyone arrived, but made a path for all of my friends to arrive. The party was a Dinner and a gift exchange. All the girls exchanged gift card and the guys did a white elephant gift, which was really funny. Tonight we organized and put together a play room for Bailee. She is almost two and needed a room for all her toys. She loved it! She played in her new play room all night! This year we had alot of fun decorating, ( well I did at least) Garrett did our christmas lights this year!(with help from our neighbor Chris - the fireman - since Garrett is a little afriad of the edge of the roof) I think he did a better job than than the companies I have hired to do it in the past. I decorated the tree this year with purples and green. We also put a small tree in Bailee's room and she helped decorate it. We took Bailee to a local tree lot and let her pick out a small live tree to put in our family room. Her and I had alot of fun decorating it!

For thankgiving we went to my parents house. I made rolls and pumpkin cake with a cream cheese frosting . ( it was so good. I love pumpkin, and had never tried this one before) After we ate so much we could barly move we went to see Twilight. It was good for the second time. ( I promise I wont see it again that might be wierd.) The day after thanksgiving my sister, my mom and I went shopping down at the gateway... it was crowded but we had a lot a fun. Cant wait for Christmas! I love the hollidays (mainly the food!)
Last weekend we ate dinner at the Kandels house it was amazing. Eric knows the best recipe for stuffing. I made a desert called elare cake. It is Garretts favorite desert. ( and very easy to make)
Eclare Cake
Crust: 1 cup water, 1/2 cup water Bring to boil. Take off heat stir in 4 eggs one at a time. Bake 350 20-25 min let cool
mix 1 8oz cream cheese, small cool whip and 2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 lrg box vanilla pudding and 1 lrg box chocolate pudding
Layer all together add more whip cream and chocolate surup to the top.
It is better if you let it set in the fridge for a couple hours then serve.

I dont have any new pics to post this week but here is what we have been up to. Last weekend we took Bailee to Disney on Ice. She loved but was a liitle scared at first. This weekend I went to a private showing at Jordan Commans of Twilight. It was so good! I went with my sisters. I guess I am one of those twilight neard moms, but we had alot of fun. My 15 year old sister could'nt stop talking about how hot Edward was. I also went to the Utah, BYU game with my brothers, mom and dad. It was a good game, I'm glad Utah won!

I finally figured out how to put a cute backround on my blog.
This last saturday we took Bailee to her first movie, Madagascar. She loved it and sat through the whole thing. It was so funny, we loved it. Bailee has started talking so much. She is so much fun to be around. I feel like I can finally take her with us places... except to the mall. She thinks its funny to play hide and seek in the stores, and it scares me to death when I cant find her. This thanksgiving we are planning on spending it with my family ( maybe in Bear Lake if there is snow) Happy November!

friday October 31st
My sister Rachelle came over with her girls Halle and Isabelle. We carved and colored pumpkins. Our nieghborhood had a block party before trick-or-treating. I made broccoli cheese soup and cookies for it. Everyone brought something to share and they had a ton of pizza for the kids! Garett took Bailee out trick-or-treating with Rachelle's husband Eric and thier two girls. All three girls were dressed up as witches. I also dressed up as a witch, and Garrett was a vampire. Even our dogs were dressed up as lady bugs. They went out for about 45 min and then tired out. Rachelle and I stayed at my house and passed out candy. My parents stoped by for a bit and tried to get rid of the rest of thier halloween candy. It was a fun night and Bailee loved all the candy!

sunday november 1st
I was giving Garrett a hair cut this morning, and Bailee decided she wanted a hair cut! Usually when I try to trim her hair she never holds still and hates it. When we went to give her a bath this moring we took off her shirt and realized she had colored all over her belly. Then we took of her pants and sock and saw that she had also colored on both ankles! So we put her in the bath and found out it was permanent marker. We washed it off as best we could but I thought it was funny because we are not sure when she got a hold of markers. ( Probably when Garrett was watching her while cleaning out his office.)
